Use Standard Command Line Tools
use standard command line tools (e.g., ls, cp, mv, rm, tail, cat, etc.) to create, remove, view, and investigate files and directories
In the following video I highlight some of the most basic command line tools and how to use them in Red Hat Linux (namely the BASH shell).
Be sure to note how to see hardlinks vs softlinks in a file listing. Also be aware of the ls -Z command to view SELinux labels.
